There’s a lot to be said for the old school way of doing tea. And for those shops that cater to a crowd with a more old world taste, this one hits all the right notes. We love our Tea Set Grape Vine because it almost feels like something out of an old British period drama - and it has just the right amount of detail to make it the sort of thing you’d want to pass down.
We’re talking about a proper porcelain construction; you can see it in the way that blue grapevine pattern pops against the white finish. The blue is rich enough to catch light at different angles, too. We can see this sitting beautifully on an accent table in an office space, or perhaps on display in a kitchen - basically anywhere with some matching classical design cues.
The teapot measures 16x10x11cm and those cups come in at a comfortable 7x7x6.5cm. This is a set that’ll last for generations if you treat it right, so naturally we recommend you suggest hand-washing only for these; don’t get us wrong, they’re sturdy - but a long dishwasher cycle might do more harm than good.
