Our Teapot Island Blue is one of those teapots that stands out instantly, with delicate blue botanicals and a classic rounded shape that you know will get people excited about hosting. There’s something really timeless about this piece, and with its 19.5x12.5x10cm size it’s not huge - but there’s enough room to serve two or three guests in one go. Porcelain and metal construction gives it a nice weight, so there’s no issue with the teapot feeling lightweight.

Rounded teapot design. Is that retro? We’re not even sure, but it has a really classic feel that throws back to late 60s and early 70s designs - especially those longer, more drawn-out teapots you see in illustrations from the period. But then the blue botanical pattern isn’t so traditional either; definitely less Grecian and more modern Scandi, which is why we think these kinds of designs have been doing so well for our clients lately. One thing to keep in mind though is that these are hand-crafted porcelain with a gentle gloss finish on them. The botanic prints do appear in varying placements across products. If you look very closely, not every product will be totally identical (and to us that’s a huge plus) - every Teapot Island Blue is unique and a genuine talking point at parties!
