Every year, there’s one standout decorative ornament from our end-of-year collection - in 2023, it’s the salmon rose beaded star. This charming little handcrafted five-pointed star comes alive with an almost unexpected combination of colour. Deep magenta and orange are balanced out by gold, clear, and soft white pearl beads - all carefully threaded along a fine gold wire that gives the piece structure. Each of these is 12cm across (so you’re not getting those massive stars you have to find a particular spot for). It gets its more delicate nature thanks to its hand-threaded finishes: we work closely with artisan women from small-scale businesses who craft each one individually using their own methods and skills, so expect some difference between every unit!
Because it comes finished with a thin pink ribbon, it is ready for hanging on those larger displays or hanging up along shelves or tables rather than being too permanent.
