It's the glaze that does it for us - right away, the glossy finish and that blend of olive green into a light pinkish base, with dark speckles, sets this ceramic bird apart. There's a crafted sense to it, but it's also so neat and compact that it'll slip in just about anywhere. We've had lots of discussions about what the "best" way to style it would be, and honestly we're still not totally sure. It looks so at home on a shelf or as part of a centrepiece display.
