Bookends Parrots A pair of parrots sitting on golden spheres and that rich gold finish, this pair is a little different to your average set of bookends. The first thing people notice is that these take up a bit more visual space than something like a monochromatic cube with subtle patterns because of how much detail you get to see in the body, head and feather work here. People love parrots for their plumage, but we find that what customers - sorry, clients - notice first is the way those gold stripes run up the tail and then make a sharp left turn at the top, with sharp crests up on the head creating a nice sense of height as well. Then there are those spheres; they’re quite regal, sort of reminiscent of design elements used in palatial décor and maybe it’s just us, but they do lend to the royal feel.
