We thought the first thing that would strike us about these vases was the citrus motif - bright yellow lemons, botanicals with green leaves, and delicate white blossoms. But that's not what stood out to us. It’s this finish - natural distressing that’ll have you wondering if it’s an antique or something newly commissioned.
Most bud vases have a standard form factor but these manage to soften sharp geometric lines into subtle curves. Not only do they sit well on their own, but they're rather remarkable as part of a group when displayed together.
What helps is the off-white base that balances those bright Mediterranean colours which can sometimes be too much for some decor palettes.
There's certainly enough room for bigger stems and this stands at 21cm tall with an 11cm diameter at its broadest point - possibly the widest in our entire bud vase range. As your interior design customers go heavier on vintage coastal aesthetics, we suspect they'll be coming back for more.
