Decorative Wood Pear

We’ve got a soft spot for pear-shaped accents. This one’s a nice 18x11cm size, somewhere in the middle where it won’t get lost on your shelf but isn’t so big it’s overwhelming. Made of pine with an iron stem and leaf up top - there’s a sort of marbled grain running down the body that gives each piece a different look.

Some people have paired it with the larger pear statues we offer or placed sets down the centre of a console table or desk display by themselves for a more minimalist look. The metallic gold finish on the leaf has a slightly distressed surface as well which is great if you want something that looks just polished enough to be part of a centrepiece without looking too artificial.

Decorative Wood Pear What is it about fruit motifs that just work? It’s just the right shape and size to fill up any space but then again, pear silhouettes aren’t something you see all that often. The gold leaf stands out for obvious reasons but we’re most into how the wood changes with every single item. There are lighter brown grains that mix with darker, almost tan lines and dots on the body of the pear. We’re also into how the actual stem and leaf aren’t painted on like with most other faux fruit - this time, there’s a real 3D touch to it and the texture makes all the difference when you’re trying to create a display or even gift it. At 11x10x18cm, it’ll fit in almost anywhere but we’d recommend thinking of this as an accent table piece than anything else - just so it gets attention for being so obviously pretty.
