Fernando Frog is one of those pieces that really does work with just about every decor style. That’s not something we can say about many animal figurines - especially frogs - but we’ve been noticing there’s something about Fernando’s chunky, sculptural ceramic form and high-shine green glaze that makes a statement whether he’s in the garden room or by the bookshelf. No fussy details, just pure whimsy. He measures 13x8.5x8.5cm and is robustly made from ceramic. We’re finding that the hand-finishing process gives a kind of naturalistic individuality to each piece too - everyone’s unique and some arrive with minor imperfections (which are intentional). Fernando’s a conversation starter or would make a gift for adults as easily as for kids. Definitely worth considering if you have regular customers who like bringing fun into their interiors. It feels more like contemporary art than kitsch, so it could end up being a subtle bestseller.
