Flying Pig Wilma

There's something a bit magical about Flying Pig Wilma and we think it's going to be one of those things that'll get a lot of attention in the shop. It's made from distressed cast iron so it looks like it's got some history to it - we've even had a few people ask if it's a collector's item! If you're stocking up for more cottage- or farmhouse-style interiors, this is a lovely accent piece to bring out in autumn and winter.

Flying Pig Wilma Flying Pig Wilma has got to be one of our all-time favourite items that we keep coming back to - it just has this really fun, quirky personality. And it’s not all about the features and details of this one because you just cannot not notice it in a store or in a display cabinet. At 9.5x4.5x6.5cm, you’d expect this little flying pig to just fly away but it never does and instead sits on all four feet, ready to zoom off at a moment’s notice. We personally think it fits really well into settings that have a more eclectic styling like some farmhouse inspired themes or even more maximalist styles. But those who have styled it in minimalist and contemporary areas haven’t run into any major issues either - we think it’s just one of those things you can fit in anywhere. And where most would go with bronze or something shiny, we’ve gone with a cast iron piece here with white paint - this adds another contrast between a choice of rustic and modern both in form and in material.
