It’s the pastel - that’s usually the first thing anyone notices about the Hanging Turtle Tidal. It’s got that cool blue shade and a fine ceramic finish, but there are sharper lines on the shell and edges so it doesn’t come off as too childish. The face of the ornament - maybe a very big part of why this sells as quickly as it does - is also very simple but expressive. It’s a sculpted smile, happy eyes and some seriously well-crafted creases on the back of the neck.
Each one is light and comes with a transparent white ribbon so it can go over those weird hooks on walls, off curtains or around mirrors and door handles. We have some spaces we love this for - like sitting areas or kids’ rooms or even the kitchen if you get some extra thread to hang them in front of windows for when they turn in sunlight.
It measures 8x5.5x2.5cm, but that’s more of an estimate because we hand-make these out of ceramic, finish them with paint, bake them till they’re shiny and then let them cool before prepping them for shipping.
