Jug Frog

Not your everyday pitcher, this one’s a real personality. Our Jug Frog sits at 15x12x15.5cm and it does turn heads - with its crouching frog shape, high-gloss finish, and sculpted arms and face, there’s plenty to notice about this jug. The colours are that beautiful blend of natural greens so they’ll fit right in alongside other earthenware or stoneware pieces in a kitchen-dining setup; but it is the relief work on this frog that really makes it stand out.

You get quite some texture variation on these; we particularly like how well defined those front legs are (it kind of looks like it’s posing for you!) And the handle design here is worth a mention - rather than feeling tacked-on as an afterthought, the transitions between ceramic pitcher body and handle are really smooth and organic, so none of that jarring look.

In terms of styling: given how whimsical and playful these jugs are we’d stock them as part of a themed dinner or party collection, around Spring or Summer especially where all things nature-inspired tend to do really well commercially. But we can also see these being used year-round because they’re just delightful!

And while your clients will definitely appreciate their form first-and-foremost here: yes, these are practical too with enough space to serve beverages easily at the table. Just make sure you have multiples ready for restocks because people usually pick up more than one at a time -

Bring out the Jug Frog at your next pop-up or kitchenware set, and your shoppers will flock to it. It’s only 15x12x15.5cm but we’ve seen a pair of these on display and they really attract attention - mostly because of the proportions and the way those large feet stick out. But look closer and you’ll see these hand painted accents that actually use a combination of two glazes - that glossy olive green with softer yellow highlights and then a slightly darker accent around all the creases and contours.
