We’ve had so much love for our XXL Nishi lamp - it just has such a calming presence with its blue-grey ceramic base and natural linen shade. At 70cm tall and 50cm wide, it’s got a lovely, generous scale and quite a few of our retailers have styled it as a hero piece on sideboards and consoles. And if you’re after a quality lamp that feels earthy but still contemporary, this one will go in just about any setting.

Our Lamp Nishi XXL is always a bit of a scene-stealer. We find this one makes for a brilliant statement piece for any homewares collection and it’s something you could imagine seeing in just about any style of living space. The soft ceramic base, with its gentle ripple effect, has a great tactile quality to it - not just visually. It almost has this look like ocean waves or, well, some of us say it’s more like vintage seagrass - depends who you ask! The neutral blue-grey on the ceramic works in so many colour palettes and the extra-large linen shade, also quite neutral, helps pull everything together to make it work in both modern settings or even coastal or Hamptons-inspired rooms. There’s nothing frilly here either. Just good design. The XXL is our biggest Nishi at 50x50x70cm, which we found gets noticed immediately - especially if paired beside beds or used as a single statement lamp on a sideboard in a shop window display.
