Just stunning. We’re often partial to woven lanterns and we always have a decent variety in the catalogue but this is something else. The natural, handwoven paper base has a vertical stripe running up the column - not too bold or distracting but enough to catch light and change the colour temperature in the weave itself. We love the subtle olivine green and how it works with the faux brown leather handle up top. You see this occasionally on upmarket wine bottles and picnic baskets and it's just very very, well, cool. But it’s not just about how cool this looks, because this is also very practical as outdoor or indoor accent lighting for staircases, reading corners, even bedside tables if you don’t need something very functional - it is an accent piece after all. The basket base is 13cm in diameter, but tapers up to 22cm across at its widest point. The verticals are about 40cm tall.
