The cobalt blue on this bird candle holder is just stunning, but it's really the shape that's got us excited to share it. It's got a fairly minimalist look, but with lots of intricate floral and leaf motifs that have a lot of the whimsy we've come to expect from traditional Portuguese pottery. At 18x5x11cm, it's best for standard taper candles (we've got some nice ones in stock!) but could also be used as a display piece by itself - we've seen our clients use them both ways.

We always get a smile when these little Portuguese Bird Candle Holders come in - it’s partly the bright blue and white hand-finished glaze, and partly the playful shape. The design is classic but quite contemporary with its clean lines, stylised wings, and delicate details.
