There’s a sort of rustic, animal-chic feel about the Pot Sitter Bird Bronze that we like. Partly that comes down to the hand-applied finish that can result in minor imperfections, but it also comes down to the slightly weathered bronze finish with a matte white on the pot itself, and a geometric pattern picked out by the contrast with the bronze.
We want to draw attention to that geometric pattern - which is hand-embossed so it’s never quite going to be absolutely straight or perfectly consistent. But then you get into what those little marks on the bronze bird do when they catch the light - because they create actual movement as a result of just how well they’ve been placed.
And if you’re running a boutique homeware shop or anything similar, there’s going to be an audience for highly-detailed ornamentation like this that almost tells a story because of how accurate it is in portraying a particular style.
