Our Rabbit Bird Bath is a pretty adorable yet rustic piece for both plant shops and homeware retail spaces that have garden sections or even gifts and figurines. The muted colour palette and raw texture work in so many different settings - from formal topiary gardens to whimsical ones - and it’s a piece that works both indoors and outdoors.
The base is made of a rabbit sitting upright with its paws holding up the ‘bowl’ that is this flower-shaped ledge on which you can place bird feed, flowers, succulents, fruit, eggs… whatever you want really. It doesn’t have to be used as a bird bath but we find it most commonly displayed as that in other shop displays.
And the finish isn’t your typical rough ceramic or perfectly polished resin - it’s a slightly speckled textured surface with an off-white tinge to it. You’ll notice what appear like little imperfections here and there but don’t worry too much about those because this item does come with a rustic finish. It’s not considered faulty, but just part of the beauty of handmade items like these. Perfect if you’re looking for something farmhouse inspired but still durable enough for outdoor use in sunrooms, patios, balconies and open gardens as well.
