If you’ve got shop customers who can’t get enough of a coastal home or just really like whales, we think these coasters might be a hit for you. It’s something different - and a bit special, too. Our Coasters S/4 Ocean are for anyone who’s probably had their fill of beachy stripes and is after something new to add that extra bit of contemporary seaside feel to their table.
What makes them stand out? The hand-painted style, really. There’s this gentle watercolour quality to the way the whale tails and whales have been illustrated. It goes so well with the natural stone look - these are resin but honestly, it’s hard to tell without tapping your fingers on them. They’re a neat 10 by 10cm square, so plenty big enough for larger mugs, tumblers or glassware.
Because they’re not cartoonish or obvious - they’re going to work in more grown-up living areas and beachy holiday homes just as much as in a kid’s room. And then there’s gift appeal. When people see whales in-store, there’s usually that instant 'oh I love them!' reaction, especially if they live somewhere near the sea or wish they did!
