Parisian bees and some vintage French script - who’d have thought that’s such a draw for so many customers? The S/4 Coasters Paris Bee set gets a few repeat orders from our homewares and giftware clients. Those cute little honeybees on white porcelain are quite the favourite with all kinds of customers, but especially those who want Paris-themed kitchen décor. You can probably spot that its design is less about the actual drinkware as much as those decorative motifs.
The bees in fine gold foil are set alongside three hexagonal geometric patterns that make up the background, giving it a modern feel while still being whimsical and bright. At 10x10cm per coaster, you get some of that durable resin material coming through while keeping things nice and thin – it’s about half a centimetre thick so you won’t see it as clunky or heavy. Some of our homewares stockists keep these in linen-lined baskets alongside mugs and stemware in pastels and lighter shades.
