The Starfish Med Mineral is a ceramic starfish measuring 9cm wide and 1.5cm deep, made from powdery off-white, grey and brown-flecked ceramic for a finish that looks reminiscent of real dried starfish with a more considered contemporary touch. What we think your buyers will appreciate about this one is the slightly uneven, rougher finish up close - it almost feels like a combination of sand and stone on the outside of this one, and since each piece is slightly different, there’s some personalisation involved that gives each buyer something to call their own. What’s been interesting is how creative people have gotten about incorporating these into their own homes, usually with other marine-inspired accent pieces as well (often alongside blue ceramics or sand-inspired vases) for added effect.
