Trivet Vintage Blue

Just a beautiful trivet - that deep blue is so inviting, and the hand-painted dove in the centre with its gold olive branch really makes this one stand out. This is heat-resistant ceramic with a cork backing, 20x20cm, and comes with a glossy finish so it’s equally at home under hot pots or as a decorative accent in a living room or kitchen. We find this one works especially well as a gift or even grouped with other trivets as a set for someone who loves entertaining - it’s the quality of the finish and colour that does it.

There’s something special about blue and white designs, isn’t there? They tend to just draw in that classic sort of crowd and our Trivet Vintage Blue is a good example of that. It’s got this really bold design to it with blue swirls and motifs that frame a dove (complete with an olive branch) flying right in the centre. We find it really is a conversation starter as far as trivets go. At 20x20cm, it’s wide enough for a generous sized bowl or dish or serving platter on top but not so large that it takes over an entire dinner table either. It’s made from a blend of ceramic and cork with bright colours through the glossy finish too, which makes it absolutely pop against wood-grain or any other neutral palette. And if you’re running tight on space, we find quite a few customers also like using them as wall hangings and centrepieces - either by themselves or propped up on smaller wire stands for context (either way looks lovely).
