Wall Plaque/Trivet Pear

A botanical print like this is a definite draw for any shop that sells kitchenware, homewares, or giftware. The pears are realistic but also stylised with those earthy greens and yellows, and the off-white background matches a lot of what we have in stock right now. But it’s that beautiful script font with the scientific name at the bottom that really gives it its character - we’re confident that this 20x20cm wall plaque (or trivet) would fit right in anywhere.

Even after all these years, we’ve got a soft spot for this style of kitchen print. That classic botanical illustration of pears and blossoms is spot on, with a bit more of that scientific look because of the ‘Pyrus communis’ label - so it’s got a kind of gardener’s vibe to it. What we end up admiring most with this wall plaque or trivet is the printing and the colour quality. It’s maybe not - wild? - but we like that vintage sort of yellow and those soft greens (even if they do have some variation). And it’s a very solid kind of texture to it, with a nice thickness in the 20x20cm round form. Just to clarify - it is ceramic and while we love the printing quality, you’ll notice every piece can be a touch different in colour from the next. It is lovely for kitchens or hallways - and with that hanging hole at the top, it works wonders as a wall accent.
