Practical and no-nonsense. We do like watering cans like this one that manage to bring both and still look nice even when they’re sitting on a table or something and not actively being used. This ivory watering can is a nice medium to large size, coming in at 39x17x18.5cm, with a long wooden handled carry handle at the top - we know some watering cans make that an afterthought but not this one.
The slightly off-white to cream colour is not something we see on a lot of other watering cans which tend to go for pure whites or metallics. There’s also a wooden ring at the top of the handle that lets you hang it up from a hook or a nail easily when not in use. With it being made from metal, some people just want to hang it from hooks instead of keeping it on surfaces which is understandable.
And speaking of details, the little ridges along the outside are wonderful for extra grip when things get wet or muddy. Just those little things that make something feel intentional in its design. The long, thin sprout also makes it easier to use when watering hanging or wall planters.
It’s easy to refill and doesn’t require much effort with opening and closing like some other styles of watering cans might - ours have found these very handy since more hands can operate them even with reduced grip strength.
