Crosses can get a bit same-y, right? This one is something special. The Timber Cross with Shells is so much lighter than traditional crosses, both in feel and in look. It has gently rounded corners, a blue shell pattern centre panel, and a decorative loop of timber beads at the top for hanging. Because it’s not your typical cross shape and finish, it appeals to younger buyers as well as older ones who want to bring a modern touch to their faith traditions. Maybe it’s the shell panel. Maybe it’s the way the beads are looped for hanging. Wooden crosses have been trending a fair bit lately, and these ones are right on cue for home décor shops wanting a Christian wall piece that isn’t too heavy - visually or otherwise. That said, this cross is actually lighter than other pieces we stock, made with flat wood (rather than being a single carved block). But if your buyers don’t want to have to drill a nail into their walls, they can always add it to a centrepiece arrangement for their altar instead. The wooden motif makes it easy to sell in coastal settings, but if your retail shop has more of a neutral theme (natural woods, creams and whites) this one will go really nicely as well. The colours of the shells aren’t super bright - they’re like muted sky blue tones, so this piece goes just as well with beige or stone bases as it does cool tones.
