What a delightful fellow - this garden snail is great for anyone who wants to create an outside space that’s quirky, charming and full of character. There’s something about the soft sage green shell that makes it feel very homey, and the gentle beige on the body lets it sit pretty much anywhere without drawing too much attention. We really like the subtle details here. Crackled glazing adds an almost ancient feeling to the design and raised textures over its back are interesting to run fingers over. The ribbed tail is a lovely touch, with one spiral larger than the other just by a nudge - we know there aren’t exactly rules when it comes to garden snails but something about a little imperfection just feels special. And oh, can we talk about those antennae? We’ve seen quite a few animal-themed ornaments for outdoors and these are almost always either straightened up in attention or sticking out in wild abandon. But these are slightly curved inward, making this snail look laidback yet quietly mischievous. (Maybe it knows how cute it is.) The material itself feels solid – made from resin so no need to worry about exposure to rain either. It does come in at 25x10.5x19cm so keep that in mind when placing smaller batches on shelves. We think this would go best as part of window displays or close by points-of-sale simply because of how unique the detailing actually is – curious shoppers will be able to get up close and interact with all those raised lines or even tap their fingernail against its shell! It works nicely next door to actual planters filled with fresh flowers or mossy potted indoor ones, but also brings some warmth when set solo on empty patios or entryways.
