Jute Tote / Bee Cross Body Strap

Handmade from natural jute and featuring a detachable striped crossbody strap, our Jute Tote / Bee Cross Body Strap is a real showstopper. So much texture and such a fun statement design - that big embroidered yellow bee on the strap, the black yarn tassel feature at the base of the handles, and that chunky weave all make this bag pretty hard to pass up. The thing we really like about this one though is how casual it is. It’s got that handmade look to it, but the gold toned accents and smooth lines really elevate the piece into a must-have for day-to-day wear. There’s enough space in there for all your daily essentials and a few extra bits or bobs as well, but you’re not going to have one of those situations where you’re forced to stick your head in there just to find your keys. At 30x10x27cm plus an 88-160cm strap length, there’s just enough space for everything you need but not so much that it gets overwhelming. Because it’s made from natural materials and handwoven by artisans, each piece is unique. And if we’re being honest, we really like that about them - there’s something special about knowing no two totes are ever going to be identical. And if you’re worried about differences in size, shape or finish, rest assured: these are all quality-checked by us before they leave our store and this is definitely one of those situations where differences are not considered faults. We’d usually recommend pairing this with summer and beachwear but there’s a surprising versatility to this bag that we can’t get out of our heads. There’s no lining on the inside which means no fussing when it comes to cleaning up spills or stray grains of sand.
