Our S/4 Coasters Magnolia set has all those subtle little details that people keep coming back for. Whenever we get fresh stock in, there’s always some questions about how those illustrations are printed – the edges are so crisp, and you can still see individual brushstrokes on the magnolia petals. We do get retailers checking that they’re not hand-painted, just because of the quality there. But it’s a print, pressed directly onto resin (no vinyl coating), and there’s a really nice contrast between the smooth finish up top and that natural earthy palette on each piece. These are just 10x10x.5cm each, so quite a compact design.
It’s that close-up detail that makes these so versatile; you can mix them with all sorts of homewares or as part of a drinks corner in the kitchen. They work with everything from other blocky textures to high gloss finishes – we’ve even seen them paired up with linen placemats and timber kitchen trays for a pretty unique setup.
