Sitting Rooster
We’ve recently stocked up on this Sitting Rooster, and everyone who’s passed by it has stopped to pick it up. It’s one of those pieces that you see a lot in certain spaces, but we think they work well for themed rooms or to add some contrast to more monochromatic ones.
At 18.5x11x24.5cm, it’s decent in size and sits comfortably on end tables, centrepieces, or as part of larger displays. We know a lot of shops like these for more rustic spaces or in kitschy cafe corners for that lived-in feeling. It works better when there are one or two; a handful of these together can overpower other pieces you may want highlighted instead.
The resin is sturdy enough not to chip at the first bump, but light enough that you’re not lugging them around as if they're actual farm animals. The finish is done well and the paint doesn’t look like it’s just been slapped on either - the Sitting Rooster’s design complements various aesthetics well but we’d recommend placing them with rustic pieces and warmer tones for the best effect!
